Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is on the lookout for casual Mental Health Support employees / Kaimanaaki to join our friendly whānau-centred team! We’re all about providing exceptional care to tangata whaiora in our cozy, community-based residential and respite homes in Flaxmere, Hastings.

What makes Te Waiorua special?
Te Waiorua is our low to medium Mental Health Residential and Respite service with three welcoming homes offering 24/7 care. We provide structure, support, and aroha to ensure tangata whaiora thrive. Shifts are 8am to 4pm, 4pm to 12am and 12am to 8am.
Whether you have availability for mornings, evenings, or overnights, we have options for you!
Desirable attributes:
- A Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health Support Work or Health and Wellbeing OR Level 4 Certificate in Hauora
- Experience in a Mental Health or Aged Care or Disability Care service
- Knowledge of medication administration (we can also train if needed)
- Current First Aid Certificate if preferable (or we will arrange this for you)
- A current, full driver's licence
- Flexibility to jump into different shifts and work collaboratively
