We have a Fixed Term opportunity in our Whānau Ora team until 30 June 2026 for a registered Social Worker to join our team. This role brings professional expertise and oversight to the kaupapa Māori approach of Whānau Ora, supporting both whānau with more complex needs and our Kaiārahi (Navigators) through informal guidance and coaching.
You’ll work alongside nine Kaiārahi and report to the Kaiārahi Lead, holding a client base of your own while contributing to team capability through day-to-day advice and occasional training support.
This is a great opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about strengths-based, aspirational practice with whānau, especially those facing high deprivation or complex circumstances, and who thrives in a kaupapa Māori environment grounded in manaakitanga and kotahitanga.
