The Service – Hutia Te Rito
This new service is focussed on hapū mama and pēpi aged 0 – 4 years or tamariki in the care of their grandparents or extended whānau living in Heretaunga.
The role is to provide support to whānau where there is an emerging or undiagnosed disability or developmental need or whānau experiencing distress due to social issues like addiction, lack of housing or family harm that is impacting on whānau wellbeing.

Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whānau-focused, Iwi mandated, kaupapa Māori health and social services organisation. We have been supporting our whānau me hapori to achieve their aspirations and general wellbeing for more than 40 years. Underpinning our success as an organisation are our values: Kotahitanga, Whakamana, Kaitiakitanga and Whanaungataunga, which are woven through everything we do.
The Role
This is a full time, fixed term role working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
The funding for this service is till 30th June 2027.
