Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a Ngāti Kahungunu mandated, kaupapa Māori values-based health and social services organisation. We provide services to our community along the East Coast of the North Island, from Mahia to Remutaka. 

Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whānau for over 40 years. Our Whakakitenga (Vision) is ‘Te Haaro o te Kahu ki Tauwhakarere – The Hawk sees beyond the horizon to our future’.

The Role 

We have a vacancy in our Business Growth and Design (BGD) team for a Contracts Coordinator. The BGD team's purpose is to access funding, design new services that improve whānau wellbeing and monitor over 300 government agreements and sub agreements with our health partners. 

We are looking for someone who has a passion for advancing Māori development and who has a commitment to Kaupapa Māori Health & Social Service provisions.

Your main responsibilities will be to maintain organised and up-to-date contract records, administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, and monitor organisational contract compliance. You will also coordinate contract-related activities, serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, and generate reports to support decision-making.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. 

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Previous experience working with service contracts or in an administrative position.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Folio is an advantage
  • The ability to interpret data accurately.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the Principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
